Phone on 0300 303 1056

“Safe Spaces is a free and independent support service, providing a confidential, personal and safe space for anyone who has been abused through their relationship with either the Church of England or the Catholic Church of England and Wales.  It is for people aged 18 or over, but the abuse can have happened at any time in the past. If support is required for someone younger, the team will endeavour to find appropriate local support. The dedicated Safe Spaces team are available through a helpline and live chat service between Monday–Saturday 10am-6pm, apart from Thursdays when the service is open 12-8pm.  Phone on 0300 303 1056 (a voicemail facility is available outside of opening times)

INDEPENDENT CONFIDENTIAL SUPPORT FOR THOSE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR THOUGHTS OR BEHAVIOUR.
StopSO aims to prevent harmful sexual behaviour through therapy. Anyone who is concerned about their thoughts or behaviour, or knows someone who is acting inappropriately, can ask for our help.

Therapy may be suitable for you when:

  • Your thoughts are worrying and you need help dealing with them
  • You worry that your behaviour may escalate
  • You feel on the brink of committing a sexual offence
  • Other people maybe at risk
  • You are suffering from stress, low self-esteem, depression or isolation
  • You are abusing alcohol and/or drugs in an attempt to cope
Whether you’re male or female, adult or adolescent, whether you’ve had bad experiences of therapy in the past and are reluctant to try again, please contact us.

StopSO therapists are trained to work with everyone in a non-judgmental way.
